March 11 1940- May 9 2022. Born of Anna and Holloway Penrod -1940 in Springfield Colorado. Married Larry Smith of Campo in 1960. They started their life and family in Campo, had their first son Michel. Opportunity opened for Larry and moved them to the Denver area. They had their second son Shannon and eventually their daughter Chardonnay. They made their home in Lochbuie and Fort Lupton, they enjoyed the area for many years. She cherished being a mother and grandmother. Sheryl loved to visit and meet new people and never knew a stranger. She was kind and loving. She is deeply loved and will be deeply missed.
Sheryl is survived by her husband Larry, son Michel (Christine), son Shannon (Geri), and daughter Chardonnay (Perry). 15 grand and great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews, friends and family.
She is preceded in death by her father, mother, four sisters and one brother.
