The Springfield Police Department and the Baca County Sheriff’s Office responded to a disturbance involving the discharge of a firearm in the 200 block of West 8th Avenue in Springfield on 03/13/2022 at approximately 1707 hours. A lengthy on scene investigation took place that ran in to the morning hours of 03/14/2022. One individual is in custody as a result of the disturbance.
